Octopus Kisses
I look like I've been attacked by an amourous octopus. I went to get acupuncture yesterday and the doctor also did some cupping. Cupping, if you don't already know, is when heated glass jars are applied to the body. The heat creates a vacuum and pulls old blood to the surface of the skin. That's why I have been left with big red circles over my back and left leg. At dance last night, where of course a leotard hides nothing, people kept coming up to me and saying, "Ah, I see you've been to see Sue Mae (the doctor's name)." No secrets around here.
I was exhausted when I got home last night and feel into a deep sleep. Didn't want to get out of bed this morning either. But I certainly feel relaxed, and the muscle spasms in my leg are definitely less severe.
