So earlier this year, the three initiated a recall campaign to oust the board members. Their petition has been rejected by the board of directors, so they took the matter to Riverside County Superior Court. A ruling could be issued by the middle of the month.

The Carolina Lakes Property Owners Association counted the results of an election Sunday afternoon and announced an affirmative vote of 570-364 to purchase the course from owner Ron Hall for $2.3 million.

Roenfeldt says that they've come up with a way that makes them HOA friendly with most of the home owner's associations around town.  "Most home owner's associations will say you can't have something permanently affixed to your wall. But the residents won't be able to count on this proposed new office to resolve disputes with association officials.

The minority of association malcontents and agitators have lost their champions in Tallahassee and now must find another venue to vent their anger and frustration against their boards of directors.

Corzine, argue that New Jersey towns should be allowed to charge developer's impact fees -- funds paid by the developer to help offset increased infrastructure costs caused by the development.
