Although that's great news for CMA, which manages homeowner associations, it also illustrates something that all small business owners can use.  Namely, just because you're small doesn't mean it's impossible to formulate and execute a corporate ethics policy.

The unit owners will do everything necessary to recoup their losses,” she said.

Three of the four board members of the Oak Hollow Homeowners Association were in Superior Court in Mount Holly yesterday to defend themselves against a civil lawsuit charging they mismanaged association fees and funds generated from special assessments.

Work was slow in getting started and then stopped last spring after the roofing company that was hired reportedly found asbestos in the ceilings of the complex, built in 1985. Then, suddenly two weeks ago, a second roofing company started all over again.
