Dave Winer is going to be in Washington DC soon. I emailed a few weeks ago when he began his cross-country trek. I did not get a response--admittedly, he is much busier than I. That said, if you are traveling up I-95, why not stop off in Baltimore?

I know a great place to stop for a beer.

I had a nice, quiet weekend. I attended a going-away party for a friend who was headed back to Boston on Friday evening. I had a lot to drink, but no drunkeness, which is good.

Saturday, I ran errands. Using my Best Buy Gift Card, I purchased TurboTax Deluxe and Dino:The Essential Dean Martin. Apparently, the Cd was free, as I was charged "$11.99 with $11.99 Dollars " according to the receipt. Sweet! I also went to Kohl's to take a Christmas gift back, but I have no idea what the heck to buy there. Nothing jumped out at me, so I have a little more than $13 to use there. I have no idea for what I am going to use this credit. In the evening I joined some friends for an evening of board games and football watching. After about three or four board games, I decided to call it an evening. Ahhhh, yes, I lead a pretty exciting life.

Today, I played the next to last game of my touch football league. Thankfully, it ends next week. We are terrible, and to compound matters I turned my ankle today. Thus, my quiet weekend was interrupted. That's what I get for wearing low-top cleats as a lineman (both offensive and defensive). It is nothing but a sprain, though, as it just hurts (and is nice and swollen). Let's see how it is tomorrow, after I get some ice on it.
