"99.1 becomes El Zol
Popular modern rock station WHFS has switched to a Latin format"
I saw the comment that Snay made here, and I decided to check this out myself. Admittedly, I was amazed by this. I checked out WHFS.com, and I was immediately redirected to El Zol 99.1. There is no content there, yet.
WHFS had grown immensely from its once humble roots. It was once
the cool station to listen to, but it deserted that perch many years
ago in my book. The final nail in the coffin--aside from the
repeated airing of music by crappy bands--was the addition of the
Sports Junkies. That said, the station had a presence with its
'HFStivals, which became quite notable.

"And the only prescription...is more cowbell!"
In honor of a friend who kept doing this on Monday night, I have
included a video clip for all to enjoy. Also, since I have no
broken extremities, I gotta have more cowbell. I know it is old,
but it just continues to be funny.

I just returned from a visit to my PT friend. She said that I
have a sprain--no fracture. If I had a fracture, walking would be
extremely painful. She noted that I had a heel-to-toe motion, and that
is pretty indicative of there not being a problem. She suggested that
I keep the foot/ankle elevated, no cardio/calf-work for two weeks, and
wrap the ankle with an ACE bandage and aircast. She provided me with
an aircast, and admittedly, it feels better to walk around with that
on. Looks like I will be back, and maybe doing some more
self-medicating.
I am cancelling my orthopedist appointment for tomorrow, and I may see
if I can work from home. I would like to have a day where I do
not have my foot underneath my desk all day long. Time to talk to
my boss about that.

I am bolting work early to see a friend who happens to be a physical
therapist. There, I will get a professional assessment on my
ankle. I have an appointment with an orthopedist tomorrow.
I am hoping I did not break it, but everything seems to point to some
type of break. This would be the first time I have ever broken a
lower extremity. If I broke it, everyone gets to have a good
laugh at my expense as I hobble around. I am doing that now, and
it is pretty entertaining.
Stupid football!
