Happy Mother's Day!!!!
I, of course, have the greatest Mom in the whole world!
Unfortunately, I'll have to wait until tomorrow to get this blog entry posted. I can't get through on our 800 toll free dial-in access number - all circuits are busy. Which is no surprise to an old telco pro like me. Today being Mother's Day is the busiest traffic day of the telecom world.

Well Peter and I are all packed for our very long trip back to Alaska tomorrow. Our plane leaves at the crack of dawn: 6:00 AM. So that means we need to leave here at about 4:45 AM. ugh...
I'm trying to wangle a stopover in Salt Lake so I can see Dr. Bateman (my fibro doc) tomorrow. I have a 2:00 PM appointment, our plane gets in at 10:30 AM and there's a 7:00 PM flight out of Salt Lake tomorrow night. However, Delta is very reluctant to change me from one flight to other. Very frustrating. I'm still going to try again tomorrow. Once when we check in at Sarasota and again in Salt Lake.
Peter and I had a great time on this trip - both in New York City and in Sarasota. I don't think I'm quite ready to go back. But oh well...

 This guy is a Great Egret. All the herons and egrets are so much fun. Very deliberate stalkers. And on those legs, they're just so odd looking as they very carefully lift up one leg and then the other.

 This is Puck - Muby and Chuck's (Peter's Mom and Stepdad) pug. Puck is not at all spoiled. Hah! However, he is a great little guy and we've become real buddies.
