The NY Times on the perils of dating on blogger. Peter can certainly relate. Afterall, the whole world now knows that he's the Ski Boy.

I was just getting ready to write that it appeared as if Charles and Phil have fallen off the face of the earth. However, just to be safe I checked both their blogs. And guess what - Charles is back! Nothing like the death of Lakers to inspire some celebration! Now, if Charles would just continue to hang around...

But, Phil has not blogged in over a month. I really miss him....

Wonderful afternoon wedding today: Susan LaGrande, an old (well, not old) and dear friend and Pete were married in Susan's backyard (actually, now their backyard). As is common in Alaska weddings, the marriage ceremony was performed by close friends. In Alaska, anyone, as long as they fill out the correct paperwork, can perform a marriage. I've even done one. It is a very special honor.

The afternoon was sunny but a tad cool which is to be expected in mid-May. But the fifty-odd guests were decked out in tropical wear as requested by the bride and groom. So, I wore my spiffy new silk tropical print Tommy Bahama shirt and slacks and a fleece jacket.

Amazingly enough, no one asked Peter and I when we're going to get married. It has been a frequently asked question in the past few months.
