Further adventures of Kjersti in Flagstaff

'Kjersti Plätzer continues training for two in in Flagstaff , Arizona. 'I have done a good week of training, totally nine workouts. Four of them running, one aqua jogging and the rest walking. I was very happy with all of my training this week, especially that I was able to run so well.'

Kjersti has been training alongside Tim Seaman, Erik Tysse and Susana Feitor or Portugal in preparation for competing in Tijuana. She also visited Albuquerque, New Mexico.

'I was also very happy that I finally got the chance to meet Paula Radcliffe. Paula and her husband Gary Lough, left Flagstaff last Sunday, so we didn't get the chance to meet them in Flagstaff. But Stephan and Gary stayed in contact during the last days. I am glad that Paula had some time to meet me and have a coffee and hot chocolate at Starbucks. We really had a nice afternoon and I enjoyed it a lot. It has been a big inspiration for me. Thank you Paula and of course Gary. There is always something to learn from athletes like Paula, and I hope that this hasn't been our last meeting.'

'Back at the hotel we had a nice dinner with the Italian walkers Elisa Rigaudo, Olympic Champion Ivano Brugnetti and Alessandro Gandellini.'

Alvia Gaskill bookmarks this blog

Alvia Gaskill, an apparent American Dave Ainsworth equivalent, notes nascent Tim Watt media empire - and get's confused by San José, California, based blogging software product name.

As an encouragment (yes) to this prodigious Google News searcher - who can tell what might be unravelled should he decide to enter the blogosphere?...

Likely as not, Jeff Salvage, will be up and running with a rapid-rebuttal blog.
