Ha ha, I'll bet the folks at the telegraaf will be wondering about all the traffic Dave is sending them about our Radio Shows.
Dave and I have been working on several ways weblogs and perhaps even better, Desktop Websites, can integrate with a radio program. The obvious is that the audio portion is the top level of the blog, which is fed by whatever bubbles to the top.
It certainly is nice to read how "The Netherlands is leading the way., especially after the idiotic KPN chat of the royal couple :)

Although I voted not to make the Scripting News Awards voting data public, I'm tickled that I actually placed 4th, between Evhead and Zeldman.
But cooler by far is the voting system that was built for the voting. Nice archives in xml of who voted when, beautifully archived as well. Chapeau bas!

Companies line up to hire Arthur Anderson. "Look, most of my compensation is based on options," continued Farnsworth. "Why would I hire an accounting firm that might insist on the spirit of the law, when I could hire Arthur Andersen and cash out? Those guys are pros! When I saw that guy [David Duncan] refuse to testify in front of Congress, I knew that the boys at Andersen had balls. There's no 'I' in 'Team' with them." [FARK]

Many of you know that I have been working with Peter Ford on "SchoolBlogs". Peter is a teacher at the British School of Amsterdam.
I recently found out he's been working all this time on a Pentium I windows95 machine with 16 Megs of Ram. Woah! He's been Running Radio on that machine as well!
Today I'm dropping off a nice Powerbook with OSX, can't wait to see the results of his upgrade :)

The Radio UserLand weblogs community is experiencing some issues when running under OSX.
Lots of smart folks working on this, looks a bit like OSX gets confused between using lookupd and netinfo, especially when being used as a server (as in the case of desktop web-apps like radio) and eventually closes net connections.
Hmm...sounds almost exactly like the problems we've been having with our Frontier server on OSX as well!
Still digging!
