Garmin has a cool new gizmo that marries the ruggedized two-way radio with a GPS. Remote control GPS location for hiking partners (or mall shoppers?): press a button and your location is "beamed" to the other radios. Hopping on the P2P bandwagon they call it Peer-to-Peer Positioning.

This sounds like just nother nifty gizmo, at first, but I can see so many uses for a device like this up here in Alaska where 99 percent of the land is still wilderness. I plan on buying a couple.   7:10:41 PM       

Some little fuckheads miscreants shot up my house with paintballs last night. I found about 12 of them plastered on my windows and painted exterior. I've been out there cleaning up all evening. What a PITA... It's only about 15 degrees outside.
