Yesterday I went to the opening of the new Lowes store the corner of Old Seward and O'Malley. Thats right, I'm a sucker for hardware stores. While wandering through the flooring section, I stumbled onto a product demonstration for Armstrong laminate flooring, and surprise, surprise, I won a drawing for $100 worth ofthe stuff.

$100 worth of flooring. That's buys you about 80 square feet. My basement is 850 square feet. 80 feet down, 770 to go. That's smart marketing, if you ask me. Get me started w/ a sample, and now I have to buy the rest (about $1600 all figured) to refinish my basement. Those people at Lowes are like crack dealers.  8:21:26 PM     Add a comment
