20,000 gather to honor Wellstone: "With poignant eulogies and furious rallying cries [~] and nearly as much laughter as tears [~] some 20,000 friends of Paul Wellstone bade the late senator a boisterous farewell on Tuesday evening. The first eulogies were tender remembrances. But when it was time to recall Wellstone, who was locked in a tough re-election fight when he died, his friend and former student Rick Kahn adopted the late senator[base ']s fiery speaking style at the evening memorial."

Sorry to say, but it didn't look like any kind of memorial I'd want. It really looked like a sickening politcal wrally wrapped around a funeral to me. When I die, don't call me a Republican, and please, please, don't use me to advance your agenda. Just keep it simple, and call me a friend.  8:46:08 PM  permalink   Add a comment
