On the right, Denali rises into the clouds. At twenty thousand, three hundred some odd feet, it's the tallest mountain in North America. 7:53:28 PM

Leave it to me to go out of town during what turned out to be a fantastic ending to one of the best World Series in recent memory. Not that I was able to see much of it. Saturday, while the Angel's were astounding everyone, I was driving to Fairbanks. And guess what? Not a single Radio station up there carried the ball game.
I mean, what the So, I was in the dark, wondering if the evil S.F. Giants were the new world champions, or if the Angels managed to hang in there. Not until I opened the Sunday paper over breakfeast at Dillinger's did I find out the spectacular news! Sunday night, I ate dinner at Pike's, because I knew I could count on them to be show the game. The meal was good, but the ball game was better. So, congratulations to the Anaheim Angels, and big hearty "I told you so!" to Dave Winer and Dan Shafer!
* Sorry, mom. 7:38:06 PM
