What’s the Matter with Texas?: " Last week, Rep. Tom DeLay made comments that were inferred to mean that attacks on judges are acceptable and he has refused to clarify. Today, Sen. John Cornyn wonders ‘whether there may be some connection between the perception in some quarters on some occasions where judges are making political decisions yet are unaccountable to the public, that it builds up and builds up and builds up to the point where some people engage in - engage in violence.‘
Why do they hate us? Is it because of our freedoms? I don’t know, but John Cornyn seems to have an inside track with the terrorists here. Maybe someone should discover this network.
Update - Oliver Willis and Ezra Klein think people should call Cornyn’s office and suggest that it is improper for Senators to justify the killing of judges.
