IBM kills Monday:
We all stood in shock at the roll-out of the worst example of PR-fuelled gibberish ever created. We can all relax, IBM has bought out PwC Consulting and killed it's planned name change to 'Monday:'. I for one am dissapointed. It would have been much more exciting to see it die due to its own stupidity.
I can imagine the discusion at IBM..."we have to buy them before the humiliation goes too far." On the other hand I can imagine the talk in the PwC Boardroom..."maybe someone will buy us and spare us the humiliation of going through with this." It's nice to see Big Blue step in and save us all from any further need to laugh. I would also hope that they go through and fire anyone involved in this decision.
So, farewell Monday: Let this be your epitaph:
WOKE
UP
MONDAY:
GOT
BOUGHT
OUT
FELL
ON
CEREMONIAL
REBRANDING
SWORD
GOODBYE
I need to bless The Register for inspiring and providing much of the humor in the post...mj
