Via Crucis - The Way of the Cross Today we got news that the son of our principal is dying. He may die and move on this weekend. Her son has not yet reached his 30th birthday. If you met Mrs. Malone, you know you have met a real human being. No cold shoulder or greater-than-thou-airs here. I almost lost it in my office thinking about a young life passing and even more, I can't imagine the sense of loss for his mother. I think right away of the Jesus and his mother Mary during his last days. Both have been marching on the painful "Way of the Cross" or as we say in Spanish "Via Crucis" which somehow sounds more powerful. As her son slowly lost control over his body, she and her husband had to pick their son up and tend to him. I can only offer a prayer that God be with them in a special way and provide what they need as only God knows.

Sleep Deprivation I cannot wait for our Spring Vacation! Today is the last day of testing for our students. Then it is back to the old schedule. Yesterday we tallied the survey of parents and teachers as to how the principal has done. The teachers showed overwhelming support of our present principal. Yeah!
