Think Orange
When I worked at Apple, they would hold their WWDC
(World Wide Developer's Conference) each year, and one of the
days they would have the attendees come to Apple's campus in
Cupertino. They would give different colored Apple T-shirts
to each group of Apple employees -- one color for the OS kernel
guys, a different one for the hardware guys, etc. The shirts
are a plain, solid color, with the group name in small letters
on the front, and the new, simple plain white Apple logo on
the back (this was just after the rainbow Apple logo fell into
disfavor with The Steve). One of those years, us Tools and
Java guys got these damn bright orange T-shirts.
Like you're going to wear that color of orange on any day OTHER
than Halloween. When my wife saw the shirt, her immediate
reaction was to get a black felt-pen and draw little triangular
eyes and a crooked mouth in the middle of the Apple logo on the
back. So now it's even more obviously a shirt I can wear only
on Halloween.
