Post-Halloween Mushroom
As Jerry wraps up
his series of outstanding mushroom images, I figured
I ought to throw in the shots I took of a particularly
large orange thing that I saw last weekend.
At left, I tried one with my helmet, to show the size of the thing.
it's in a hole in the side of a large Coast Live Oak.
Finally, there's a close-up shot of it. Probably not up to Jerry's high
standards, but not bad for a serendipitous Sunday sighting.
