Thanksgiving
I give thanks to the Universe, to the
particular arrangement of physical laws
and matter that led to my having the
opportunity to experience this reality;
thanks for my family,
my friends,
my health,
my pets,
for new songs to learn,
for problems remaining to be solved,
things to be explained,
people to help,
interesting developments to understand,
methods and techniques to teach,
idiots in power to ridicule,
books to read,
beauty to appreciate,
fine wines to taste,
puzzles to solve and to create,
and a bit of time to spend on a few of these endeavors.
