2003 Denver Mayoral Election
The mayoral candidates played to a standing room only crowd at Thursday night's mayoral forum according to the Denver Post. The Post is also running a story about John Hickenlooper's new ad and Ari Zavaras' healthcare plan. The article states that Zavaras wants to dismantle "TABOR limits because they 'restrict the growth of Medicaid' and therefore lessen the amount of federal money the city gets for health care." The Tabor Amendment has governments around the state reeling from the effects of lower tax revenues.
