2003 Denver Mayoral Election The Rocky Mountain News has an in-depth look at Susan Casey today. From the Rocky, "Casey brings the experience, the result of a career that included running Gary Hart's presidential campaign in New Hampshire and winning a City Council seat twice." The Rocky also has an interview with Casey and a short bio. Casey says in the interview, "Public service is about having an impact on people's lives. I'm not looking into having important jobs or an important title. I'm looking to do important work. All my life I've had the opportunity to be involved in something that is bigger than myself and I think there is no better job in the city than mayor." The Denver Post is running a column by Diane Carman about the rift between Mayor Webb and Don Mares. Says Carman, "So with less than four weeks to go until the May 6 election, the guerrilla theater of bare-knuckle politics finally has taken center stage."
