Denver November 2004 Election
Ken Salazar kicked off his campaign tour this weekend, according to the Denver Post [April 17, 2004, "Salazar opens state tour, targets Coors"]. From the article, "Shortly after sunrise, the Colorado attorney general rumbled into Fort Collins in his 10-year-old pickup and painted GOP candidate Peter Coors, heir to a beer-brewing fortune, as an 'aristocrat.' Salazar's matter-of-fact tone barely hid the heat of his message in Larimer County, delivered to about 40 cheering people gathered at the Fish Restaurant - his first visit in a tour of all 64 counties that will wind through the state until late May."
