Denver November 2004 Election
There is very little news about the Denver District Attorney race in our dailies. Hell one candidate still doesn't have a website. Still, we'll be traipsin' to the polls in August and again in November to pick someone. John Walsh has a weblog and is trying to engage potential voters in a conversation. The recent post is New vision and new directions for the Denver District Attorney's office.
The 'Ol Coyote was riding over to the store to re-supply this morning and happened to hear Senate candidate, Mike Miles, on public radio. "It's not enough just to vote, you have to be informed and vote," said Miles. He plans to stay in the race against Attorney General Ken Salazar to force debate over the issues and to, "fight the fight that needs to be fought." He points out that the Democrats know they'll be outspent by the eventual Republican candidate.
You can contribute to Mr. Miles' campaign, here, and to Mr. Salazar's campaign, here, Mr. Schaffer, here and Mr. Coors, here (Scroll down to the bottom of the page). The Coors website makes it hard to find the contribution link. They probably need the online donations the least.
