Colorado's 9 electoral votes seem to be up for grabs this year. President Bush plans a stop here next Tuesday to rally the base and reach out to undecided voters, according to the Rocky Mountain News [September 11, 2004, "Bush rally slated Tuesday"].

DailyKos: "Missouri - SurveyUSA (PDF). 9/7-9. MoE 3.9%. (8/18 results), Bush 48, Kerry 47; Pennsylvania - SurveyUSA (PDF). 9/7-9. MoE 3.8%. (8/3 results), Kerry 49, Bush 47; Indiana - SurveyUSA (PDF). 9/7-9. MoE 3.8%. (No trend lines), Bush 60, Kerry 36."

A backissue for the presidential election is the makeup of the U.S. Supreme Court. TalkLeft is pointing to an analysis of the President's judicial nominees.
