New essay: Dealing with Diversity. In it I attempt to provide concrete examples of where metadata containing type information will help in providing the correct interoperation between diverse languages.

Back on the east coast. Not quite home yet. This week I actually met for the first time (face to face) several of the IBM people contributing to the development of Axis. I should meet another next week, as well as several non-IBM contributors.
