Infiniti G35 update: I found the wow factor.
9:12:08 PM

Sam Gentile came across a cool article by Roger Jennings about the speed of ADO.NET versus OLEDB/ADO. Roger has been doing this for as long as I've been in the business so he is worth a look.
9:01:16 PM

Evans Data interviewed a whole 800 programmers and found NET and J2EE neck to neck. I think that sample is way too small to be significant for anyhting other than PR.

C|NET: C# striking a chord with programmers.
8:54:35 PM

Freedom from the tyranny of XML config files (for ASP.NET developers, at least). The Hunter Stone Web.Config editor went 1.0. Nominally a $50 product, DNJ Online (a good European .NET magazine) is giving out a passcode to download the tool free. [Peter Drayton's Radio Weblog]

Yasser Shohoud has a good overview of WS-Security. I've also been enjoying reading his Building XML Web Services with VB.NET book, which is available online in draft form. [Peter Drayton's Radio Weblog] (Thanks Peter!)

The Fuzzy Stuff: How to Market Yourself as a Consultant (Its a light discussion. For deeper treatment look at Janet Ruhl www.realrates.com she has some killer books on this)
