Ingo had a conversation with Miguel about the greater plans for Mono. I consider myself to be one of the biggest admirers of this project. As a matter of fact part of the reason why I'm spending time with C# instead of Java is the existence of Mono. That being said, I would absolutely love to hear more about Miguels plans. So Ingo anything you'd care to blog would be appreciated.

This is sad in a way. NY Times reports that Miguel de Icaza and Ximian were ignored by his own home country, when Vicente Fox, Pres. of Mexico, signed a $100M + deal with Microsoft. Can you spell instant monopoly? Fox was an executive with US big business for some time - I think Coce or Pepsi - and hence would feel more comfortable with the likes of Microsoft as opposed to Ximian.
