Microsoft announced a $2.3 million funding agreement with University of Waterloo. UW will receive money to do some research related to the Tablet PC and will agree to replace C++ in a compulsory course with Microsoft’s C#. Throughout a lengthy piece attacking, the Middle East Media Research Institute (Memri), the organization that provides translations of often wildly anti-Semitic Arab language news stories, Brian Whitaker of the Guardian (who’s not leaving unfortunately) doesn’t even offer one actual incorrect translation.
