Damian Penny discusses cows, here are some more:

Palestinian Cows:

You had two cows grazing in a small field. People who owned that small portion of the field returned and took it back to graze their own two cows. You tried to kill them and failed, losing one cow and your remaining cow no longer gives milk making you depend on handouts from the Europeans. Lots of other fields are available to use but you refuse to use them, preferring to hope someday that you get THAT field back. Meanwhile the people who returned to the field have grown their herd to a hundred cows.

Nortel Cows

You have two cows producing a moderately growing amount of milk. You hire a new farm hand; he convinces everyone that the demand for milk will grow exponentially in the future. You buy lots and lots of cows at every increasing prices. After three years of this, during which you never actually make a profit, demand for milk ceases to grow and in fact drops. You have to slaughter dozens of cows and take a huge loss. You discover that the farmhand ran off with your daughter.

Toronto Blue Jay Cows

You had two cows, but you lost them. Now you have an empty barn.
