CAMERA, Committee for Accuracy in Middle East Reporting in America takes a look at CBS’ 60 Minutes poor reporting on the security fence between Israel and most of the West Bank. As typical with biased pieces it focuses overwhelming on the impact of the fence on affected Palestinians without mentioning the suicide bomb attacks that it is thought to have prevented, such as one on a school.

Earth Attacks!

Having successfully destroyed the European Beagle 2 invasion craft the inhabitants of Mars are now planing to deal with the American Spirit lander scheduled for January 2 and its sister ship Opportunity, is scheduled to land January 24th. Both spy ships are designed to look for minerals that could indicate whether the planet was once a wetter place hospitable to life.

My intelligence sources were wrong: The invasion is scheduled for about 11:35 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) on January 3rd.

It does not matter how detailed, exhaustive and accurate the methods of detecting the development of nuclear weapons are if nobody takes action to follow-up. The New York Times article on the methods of detecting nuclear weapons development needs to be paired with a discussion of what the United Nations is prepared to actually do about it.
