Tutorial: Using FrontPage with Radio Weblogs

Tuesday, March 05, 2002

Hey!  New things?  Where are mine?

<gripe>
I decided to create another site as a test area to play with so I got another *clean* copy of Radio, Ver 8.06 and installed it on a different PC. From my Home page I see 2 new items on the left side under Status Center that I DON'T have on this site (Radio 8.05, upgraded to 8.06 as per Jake Savin's post). What gives?? The new items are:

Manila-Blogger Bridge: Mirroring is not enabled.
My Pictures: Disabled.

I've updated Radio.root and still nothing. How do I get them on this site?  </gripe>

I like new things.  It means I'll probably have to re-work some of my tutorials to include them but, Oh well. New features means more to play with :-)

Ballmer: Sanctions would destroy Windows. Microsoft's CEO says his company would have to withdraw Windows from the market if a federal court approves sanctions being sought by nine of the states in the antitrust case. [CNET News.com]

Withdraw Windows?  What would they have us do, stare at blank screens?  Sometimes I think the people handling this case have never used a computer.

Using Microsoft FrontPage with your Radio Weblog

As promised, I've finally gotten around to writing a few tutorials on How to use FrontPage with your Radio Weblog. I was going to wait until I had finished them all but I decided to start posting them as I went for those of you that wanted to get started right away.

Note: These tutorials were created using FrontPage 2000 but are substantially the same for people using FrontPage 2002.

I'll be adding more tutorials soon.  I just can't type that fast!  BTW, one big advantage to using Frontpage is that it has a spell checker :-)
