Movie Review (really just thoughts..):
Tonight Peter and I saw "Kissing Jessica Stein." Very intelligent and very cute - and I might add that Peter and I were one of the few straight couples in the crowd. "Jessica" is about a straight, neurotic Jewish girl who decides to try "swinging from the other side of the plate" because she couldn't find any good straight men - not an uncommon complaint I might add. It was smart and appealing. Peter thinks I'm like Jessica - always focused, always reading, always doing research, etc. I have to concede he does have a point - but I am NOT neurotic.
The Jewish Mother scenes are hilarious. As a "shiksa" I found them particularly funny
