By the way, it's raining snow as I type. Just another sign of the season Alaskans refer to as Breakup. Breakup is our Spring. But instead of flowers blooming, we have a winter's accumulation of surfacing doggie effluence. Breakup is not Alaska at its best. Old Alaska joke: What do Alaskans do in the Summer? Yesterday, Dave Winer's Scripting News linked to flying dogs. Guess what - the flying dog link belongs to another Anchorage Blogger - Phil Ackley! Oooooh - very neat! And talk about an amazing coincidence - Phil has a Bouvier (named Hannah). As Phil said " the odds of there being two weblogging, Bouvier owning, anchorage-its must be completely off the charts."
