The Ski Boy and I just returned from the traditional Government Hill July 4th bbq. It was as fabulous as always: divine food (Gov. Hill has several gourmet cooks), great friends and very unusual July 4th weather (for Anchorage): hot and sunny. A perfect day. My favorite line of the day: "Ooooh, 4th's. You are my hero," stated Mike Abbott, great buddy neighbor and Anchorage's new Assistant City Manager, after I sat down next to him with my 4th food plate of the afternoon. 6:40:45 PM    comment []
