Back in the Frozen North Well, yesterday I left warm La La Land behind and returned to the Frozen North. The high today in Anchorburg was 11 degrees. The flight back yesterday was breath taking. It was one of those very rare days - clear all the way from Seattle to Anchorage. The view was a jaw dropper. Huge rugged brilliant white mountains plunging straight down to the Gulf Of Alaska. Alaska, hands down, is one of the most beautiful places on the planet. 8:55:57 PM    comment []
