Picnic Wrapup Last night, the Government Hill 90th Anniversary planning committee did a celebration dinner at Sack's. We had a blast - it was great to meet and not have to do any planning. Instead we drank two bottles of wine (Cloudy Bay Sauvingnon Blanc) and gossiped. Perfect!!! Speaking of the picnic - on Wednesday, KSKA/APRN aired a great story on Government Hill's 90th anniversary celebration. I did an interview with Len Anderson for the story on Sunday at the picnic. I think the story turned out very nicely - it really captured how we all feel about Government Hill. Len did a marvelous job of editing my comments - all my "ums", "uhs", and stupid remarks were edited out. But even Len couldn't fix my voice quality - it sounded awful. I had already done a fair amount of talking before I got to Len, so I was hoarse and my voice was cracking all over the place. Kristina, my speech therapist, is going to have a field day with that interview. sigh... 9:03:32 AM    comment []
