As, I type at 10:48 PM ADT, the ice is definitely still in the Lagoon. That being said, quite a bit more water opened up today. My guess is that the ice may actually go out on Monday or Tuesday.
I so wished I'd had my camera this morning. Tyge and I were out for our morning walk, and there were about 10 Canada Geese bleating and honking. They were waddling on the ice and obviously very unhappy. They said that Carol, Jim, Scott, and Brad told them that the ice was sure to be out by this morning!
Cory and Jen were knocked out of the running today.
