Yesterday, Peter, Tyge and I took advantage of a break in the weather and hiked up to Oh My Darlin' Clementine, the geocache Peter and I set last year in honor of Clemmie's 13th birthday.
We had a marvelous hike. It was the first time we've done an extended hike with Tyge since last year. And definitely the first time we've ever let Tyge off leash away from home. We all had a great time - although, the last 300 yards up to Clemmie's cache involve a very steep slog up the side of the mountain. It was quite clear that all three of us are definitely out of shape. Gasp...
But what a gorgeous day. The colors are moving into their stunning red and yellow phases. September is just so goregous in the mountains!
