Jobs, salary and expectations - This was posted on the forum this morning and I found it very interesting and would like to get your opinions on it. Note the salary offered and what the employeer expects from the candidate. In the discussion, please don't go into numbers of what you charge specifically, but do mention if you are faced with similar issues. JOB ORDER:  xxxxx LOCATION: xxxx, CO TITLE: Web Development Manager SALARY: 5.15 per hour EDUCATION: 16 years REQUIRED DEGREE / FORMAL TRAINING: not provided REQUIRED LICENSES / CERTIFICATES: not provided EXPERIENCE: 3 years HOURS: Full Time, Regular ( more than 30 hrs/wk, more than 6 months ) Web Development Manager, Fulltime, 40+ hours per week. Skill reguirements: BA/BS from a four year college or university  is preferred. Minimum of three years experience designing, coding and implementing MS ASP web based database applications. SFMMUF meeting - Last night I did two sessions at the monthly SFMMUF meeting (see below). This is an excellent group and if you are in the Bay Area you really should check it out. They seem to be predominantly Flash, but the leaders of the group are working hard to make the group well rounded. Good place to network and I honestly think that they gave out more raffle prizes and tchatchkis than any other group I have ever seen. I would certianly attend next month. I am going to try to organize an upcoming events section to advertise events here so keep a look out for it. 8:40:04 AM      comment []
