Note the salary offered and what the employeer expects from the candidate. Web Development Manager, Fulltime, 40+ hours per week. Skill reguirements: BA/BS from a four year college or university is preferred. Minimum of three years experience designing, coding and implementing MS ASP web based database applications. Core experience and knowledge of application development (ASP) within a MS platform.
Primary skill sets should include a large subset of the following technologies and software: MS Visual Interdev 6.0, MS VB Script, MS ADO, MS DCOM/COM, Java Script, MS SQL Server (7.0/2000), HTML, DHTML.
Exposure to the following technologies and software is beneficial, but not required (in order of preference stating the highest): Business Objects Software Suite, AS/400 Skills and DB2, Websphere Commerce Suite, WebSphere MQ, Java, JSP, JDBC, XML, RPG III, IV. Oral and/or writing skills in German would be beneficial.
The primary role of this position is responsibility for oversight of development activities tied to assigned functional business area(s). This is a "hands on" leadership position involving employee supervision, project over- sight and development activities. Activities include prioritization, technical design and development of business solutions utilizing existing software development standards. Majority of time will be spent in software/solutions development activities such as database design and code generation. Benefit package.
