Welcome to the Dreamweaver MX Blog. I am the Community Manager for Macromedia Dreamweaver and I work for Macromedia. Come to see what is happening in the community, on the Dreamweaver Team and around the web... Most of all, you get to hear my opinion.

Macromedia DevCon 2002 - The event of the year is fast approaching and we are going to have it covered for you. Beginning October 25th, check the blog daily for hour by hour reports from the travel there to the sessions to the after hours events. We are going to blog the poop out of this event so you can catch all the fun right here if you are not going to make it to the conference.

If you are still undecided about attending DevCon, then you might want to think again. Air fares are going down, there are hotels near the venue that are in the $75 a night range. It really is a good deal if you want to drown youself in Macromedia for a few days. And in the evenings there is always Disney World.

Dreamweaver Certification Challange - The Dreamweaver MX Certification exam is almost ready. We have been working on it for some time and some of the leaders in the community have had their fingers in it to some degree or another tweaking the questions and the answers and it is really rather tough. I think you'll like it.

We are going to release the Exam for DevCon, but you will be able to take it locally after October 27th at a VUE testing center.

The manager of the program has a good article on DesDev with more details on certification. Once you take it, mail me and we can compare scores!
