Joseph Lowery at DevCon - Joseph is one of our more prolific authors writing the Dreamweaver MX and Fireworks MX Bibles for Wiley and a mass of books for New Riders. Without fail his books become part of the standard library for the products.
Joseph talked with us briefly about the conference and what he is working on now.
Sneek Peek Session at DevCon 2002 - We have traditionally had a sneek peek session at UCON and DevCon, but this year we are doing something a little different and rather than showing off the new technologies that are coming, we have a session that we have done 4 times detailing one upcoming product. We are all under Non Disclosure and can't talk about the product, but it is going to be VERY cool and I think it is going to end up as the most important product in our portfolio.
This is Rick from ETS in New Jersey. He can't tell us what the new product is or what it does, but he is enthusiastic and agreed to talk to us for a little.
I think that there are going to be a lot of folks that feel like Rick. This is going to make a lot of lives easier.
Video Blog items from DevCon 2002 - There are a few other folks using the video blogs here at DevCon. If you haven't gone to their blogs then you might have missed some of the videos. Fortunately there is a master page at http://bilbo.macromedia.com/devconblog/blogitems.cfm for you to see all the video blogs. Very cool conference. Check it out.

DevCon 2002 - The conference it going really well. Last night was the party and we all went... all 2300 of us, to Universal Studios which was rented out for the conference. Block party sort of things with rides. Very fun.
Before that was the TMM event for the TMMs that made it to the conference. That was at a brewery here that had a very creditible stout. Nice to meet more of the folks. There were a lot more ColdFusion TMMs there than there were Dreamweaver TMMs. Maybe next year more of us can make it.
Today I take the certification exam at 9am and then I have my final session at 2:45. The session, on the Exchange, has been well recieved and I even got a compliment on my photography.
I also plan to do more blogging today so stay tuned.
