more podcasting linkage Tod Maffin: Why Podcasting will Save Radio. [Scripting News] Doc on the Gillmor Gang. And Doc on DIY radio with podcasting. Why my sudden interest? Well, aside from the geeky attraction to things new and fascinating, I've decided to take the plunge into iPod ownership. I'll be out of action for a few days after a bit of surgery late next week, so, anticipating the need to distract myself while horizontal, the idea of being able to listen to smart people talk tech seems very attractive. That and having an assortment of music available in-hand, without having to get up and change a CD. So I've ordered an iPod (40 GB),  downloaded iPodderX, and started capturing podcasts. 10:13:22 AM    Questions? Comments? Flames? []
