Who is Howard Coble?
In a newspaper column I lay out some facts on corporate hacking for Howard Coble's constituents, and explain why I think he can be brought around. I hope this energizes local opposition to the proposed bill, and that the column can be distributed nationally via the blogosphere to inform and focus people who don't want record companies rummaging around their hard drives.
I will continue to beat the drum in Coble's district and to report my conversations with his office in my column and this weblog. It seems very important that some political structure emerges around the effort to stop this bill--is the EFF the answer?
Vacation
Flew to Denver. Rented a convertible, drove to Basalt. Top down through the canyon by Glenwood Springs. Kids enthralled. Cold beer upon arrival. So far so good.
