Coble's Column
The News & Record posted Howard Coble's opinion article from Saturday. Man, he really opened up a can of dead poet whupass with that Samuel Butler quote. Samuel Butler also said: "Justice is my being allowed to do whatever I like. Injustice is whatever prevents my doing so." My column yesterday followed Coble's in print by one day.
Coincidence
Just days after Coble chief-of-staff Ed McDonald joked that Coble's office would "rip my face off" for writing about the P2P bill, this morning's Wall Street Journal reports that Enron's Andrew Fastow had a lucite cube on his desk inscribed with the same figure of speech. Maybe they are both really into Frank Zappa? Or could it be the Grateful Dead?
