We are heading up to a remote spot near Meredith, CO, where I don't expect to have access to the Web and will be in full vacation mode anyway. Filed a 2,000 word freelance piece to Forbes this morning, ready to head to Akron to report a story for Ziff Davis when this trip is over, so I think I've earned the time off. Many emails out on fighting corporate hacking, nice links from Dave and Doc on the column about it, so I hope we've made progress there. The only downside to being offline for a few days will be 400 emails when I get home.
Back on the Pan
Lisa and I spent the morning with Fog the fishing guide, trying for trout on the Frying Pan river and just enjoying the incredible scenery and the sounds of the water and birds. Not a lot biting today, although Lisa hooked a couple that got away--needless to say, they were HUGE.
