Boy, when that air travel system isn't dooming me to wander from one O'Hare bar to another, it really does work well. Nine hours, door to door, from the check-out desk of Rickey's in Palo Alto to the wet kisses of Luna and the somewhat more restrained (but no less heartfelt) embraces of the human members of our household. Watched: I Robot. Even so-so movies are good on a plane. Almost finished: Quicksilver.

Rules are rules: moderators wear a mic....but participants can't hold one, which led some to take extreme measures. Doc has tons o' pics.

Thanks Dave and thanks everyone for a great BloggerCon experience...

...which concluded with an excellent dinner at Scott's seafood in Palo Alto last night -- the right mix of good food, libations, and smart talk. I learned some cool stuff about a local campaign in San Francisco that I'll write up when I get back to my own time zone...

...speaking of which, Hertz rented me a Mustang convertible, which was not so exciting on the cool wet night I arrived, but has been fun since, and now it's time to put the top down and the heat up and head for SJC and on to GSO, where if all goes will I will arrive in time to watch the season premiere of the Simpson's with the kids.

Talk amongst yourselves.
