'Live Free Or Die'
New Hampshire Ad Now Up.

In an email to supporters last night, Joe Trippi wrote:

As you know, we raised $508,000 during our recent Dean Team vs Bush-Cheney Challenge. A little over $100,000 of that was used to pay for the ads we are running in Texas. So what are we doing with the rest of it? Well, you are the first to know that thanks to you we will be the first campaign to go on the air in New Hampshire and Boston, starting tomorrow.

The New Hampshire and Boston ad is now available to view on HowardDean.tv.

Here's the transcript: I'm Howard Dean. I'm running for President because the only way to beat George Bush is to stand up to him.

I opposed the war with Iraq, when too many other Democrats supported it, because I want a foreign policy consistent with American values.

I want to repeal the Bush tax cuts, so we can make health care available for every American.

As Governor, I made sure that every child in my state had health insurance. We added jobs, raised the minimum wage, and balanced budgets.

I'm Howard Dean, and I approve this message because it's time to take our country back.

Where for Art Thou, Flash-mob?
Flash mobs: a new social phenomenon?.

Flash mobs: a new social phenomenon?

Giles Hewitt in New York, Agençe France-Presse

Is it performance art or the ultimate surprise party? A social phenomenon known as the 'flash mob', which began in New York and relies on e-mail, appears to be spreading worldwide.

Using mass e-mailing, the organisers bring together what their invitations describe as 'inexplicable mobs' - large crowds that materialise in public places and suddenly dissipate 10 minutes later.

Since the first flash mob was organised in Manhattan in May, by a mischievous underground group called the Mob Project, the practise has already spread to other U.S. cities, while plans are being drawn up for events in London, Rome and Vienna.
