stuff out of my head

I've always found John Cage's music interesting (although I don't exactly just put it in the CD player and Jam out to it).

"The first notes in the longest and slowest piece of music in history, designed to go on for 639 years, are being played on a German church organ on Wednesday. The three notes, which will last for a year-and-a-half, are just the start of the piece, called As Slow As Possible."

Thanks to Mark at Boing Boing (and Kevin, who actually found it and writing I enjoy)

John Lawlor, Blogs4Business.

Blogs are about building relationships and trust, one relationship at a time. The bloggers that excite and provide value to their readers get traffic. One recent example is Gizmodo, a blog focused on "gadgets." It is pulling 50,000-plus page views a week, just five months after launch. History has proven e-mailing to millions of people who don't want to hear from you is possible but not good business. Identifying, attracting, and respecting the people who want or need your information is a sustainable business.
