They have an interesting way of encouraging conversation.

Read below:

""H2O currently provides the Rotisserie. The Rotisserie implements an innovative approach to online discussion that encourages measured, thoughtful discourse in a way that that traditional threaded messaging systems do not.

The basic concept of the threaded messaging board is to enable broadcast-to-broadcast communication among a group of people, meaning that every participant in the conversation receives every post from every other participant.

This mode of discussion inevitably leads to the domination of the discussion by a few very verbal participants and silence by the lurking majority.

The Rotisserie breaks this mode by assigning every post within the conversation to another, specific participant for response.

The resulting conversation guarantees that every post will be responded to by at least one other participant and that every participant must respond directly to the post of another participant."

Teacher Tech Training Takes a Hit.

"A program that provided cash to train new teachers in technology will likely get the ax in President Bush's proposed budget. It's a disappointing end for those who say it's been an unqualified success. By Katie Dean."

I took net games in high school ( Rochester High School )- it consisted of Tennis, Volleyball and this weird game called PickleBall.  Who'd have known they had their own association?  At the time we just thought it was weird.

"PickleBall is described as "a combination of Ping-Pong, tennis, and badminton." Invented in 1965 by U.S. Congressman Joel Pritchard, William Bell, and Barney McCallum, who wanted to create a "sport for the entire family." Apparently, they've succeeded."

"Gizmodo and Gawker converge once again, for not only was Benjamin Curtis, the "Dude You're Getting a Dell" Dude, arrested for marijuana possession in New York last night, he was busted right in front of Gizmodo's offices, just as we were coming back from the US premiere of the new Larry Clark film, Ken Park. How's that for some gadget gossip? Read"
