An interesting New York Times article on how cellphones are being used to view remote webcams. Seeing as my three year old Qualcomm 860 is being retired tomorrow (for a new Motorola T720) and I have a logitech camera, this might be interesting. Although, the last time I did the webcam thing, it didn't last for long.
"Maybe the "killer app" for video on phones isn't seeing the person you're calling. Instead, the exciting development may be the ability to use your cellphone's color screen to view remote scenes, both of public places and of your own private ones. What was once a piece of communications gear thus becomes a tool for security, safety and even spying."
